![]() ![]() I was indeed surprised to find it here for 2 reasons: one is because of course it's meant in the first place for the hackintosh scene - but again, some people might find it interesting to have a different bootloader to boot Windows or Linux on their Mac (I haven't tried it myself.) - and two because I think the people who need it already know what to do with it and where to find it. On the other hand, I agree with Mcr about the need for a disclaimer, just in case some kamikaze would try and install it on a real Mac without knowing what they're doing! :-D I don't think this is the place for a debate about wether or not it's legit to use Clover on real Macs (some people do) or hackintoshes, but what Clover does it does it well. Startup sound controlled by F8 and checked by F7.Create Clover boot entry in NVRAM with tool from GUI.Create custom boot entries for personalizing boot entries and add support for other operating systems.Boot entries menu scrolls if screen resolution is too low for menu.Ability to boot previously selected boot entry after default timeout.Press F6 to save graphics firmware into /EFI/CLOVER/misc.Press F4 to save original (OEM) ACPI tables into /EFI/CLOVER/ACPI/origin.Press F1 for multilingual help, depending on language setting in configuration. ![]()
